The storm chasing off-season is in full swing!
On January 5th, 2025 a winter storm swept through the Plains and Ohio Valley with accumulating snow, freezing rain, and blizzard conditions in some locations.
To the south, severe storms ripped through Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi with tornadoes and high winds.
I put in a little weekend overtime covering the winter storm locally in Champaign-Urbana where we mostly underachieved with a few inches of powder and some blustery winds.
We trudge ever closer to spring...
