An update on Game 2 of Rockies @ Cubs tonight at 6:40p CT: There's a window!
All of the 3km NAM, 12km NAM, RAP, HRRR, & GFS models show rain exiting stage...north...right around gametime, and suggest either clearing or maybe lingering drizzle for the game window. NWS Chicago tanks precip chances throughout the game window accordingly, dropping down to 13% rain probability by 9pm.

This is still absolutely not a picnic. Raw, drizzly, blustery, November-y cold out there. Temps should hover in the low 40s to upper 30s, with wind chills in the low 30s to upper 20s. Winds blasting in from LF 10-15mph gusting to 35mph. Games have been bagged over less. But - a drier window appears, just in the Madrigal of time.
Elsewhere, a potential Severe Weather Outbreak continues to be the focus of the weather world this morning, for our midwestern friends & neighbors in IN/OH/KY and to the south. Heads up if you're out in these parts. Andrew's thoughts on today here.
